#SendAKid2Camp by Diabaddie

The Diabaddie Organization is 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has established a Diabetes Camp Initiative (DCI), in which one of these initiatives is to engage with minority children with Type One Diabetes (T1D) to fundraise in order to Send A Kid to diabetes camp.

Children who attend diabetic camps learn how to self-manage their disease, meet other children with T1D, and receive additional medical supplies.

The average expense of attending Diabetes Camp in the United States ranges from $500 to $3000 per week, depending on the camp. The Diabaddie Organization aims to eliminate financial barriers to registration through community, friends, and sponsoring companies to guarantee that every kid with T1D has the opportunity to make new friends and educate themselves about their disease.
